Ensured Validation procedure
The Xolphin validation team performs a number of checks before issuing an Ensured certificate.
Company validation
The company information that is included in a certificate is verified with an independent source. The specified company data must correspond to this registration. Company details are:
- Statutory or trade name
- Legal form
- Address data
- Postal Code
- Place
- Country / country code
Independent sources we use are the Chamber of Commerce or a similar source.
Phone validation
Our validation department will contact the specified contact person via a telephone number registered with a public independent source. The information in the application is checked, as well as the email address and, if applicable, the specified department.
Face-to-Face validation
An Ensured eSeal is issued to a department of an organization, an Ensured eSign to an employee of an organization. Because the eSign is a personal signature, an additional check is required. We cover this with a short agreement via the HR department of the applicant organization.
An exception is an application for a sole proprietorship. Instead of this contract and the telephone validation as described above, we perform a short video validation, in which the person for whom the certificate is requested identifies himself live via a video call via Teams with a valid proof of identity.
